Unlike other tourist traps, MacGregor's Bar is an authentic Highland experience, one for locals and visitors to share together.
But that's not all! We are also home to the Highland Malt Whisky Experience. Running Monday to Friday this truly immersive show mixes history, music and whisky tasting, allowing you to delve into the rich history and exquisite flavours of Scotland.
During the day we also host the Highlander Experience with Scotland’s story told through music, drink and food.

Who you'll see at the sessions
Amongs many a familiar face you'll also usually see Bruce MacGregor, the renowned fiddle player, owner, and former presenter of BBC Radio Scotland's folk show. Hs a true pillar of the Scottish music community. Aside from his musical contributions, including co-founding Blazin' Fiddles, Bruce hosts the Sunday sessions and the Highland Malt Whisky Experience at MacGregor's bar, showcasing his diverse talents and dedication to promoting Scotland's cultural heritage. Through his various roles, Bruce exemplifies his commitment to sharing the best of Scottish music and offering unique experiences that celebrate the country's rich musical traditions.
